Settled relies on a huge team of volunteers spread across the UK. We currently have about 80 amazing advice volunteers, speaking more than 20 European languages. Trained and supported by staff coordinators and managers, volunteers provide free, expert advice on the EU Settlement Scheme and Ukraine visa schemes in range of roles. We are also recruiting for volunteers to help build and maintain this Settled Culture website and associated social media promotion. Roles could include finding exciting new events and other cultural content to be uploaded and promoted to Settled Culture listings; and/or to find interesting people to interview and feature in articles. The volunteering role would be home-based and at your convenience, and although it would particularly suit people with some background in or connection to the arts, and/or journalism, the main requirement is enthusiasm to explore and share European cultural contributions!
